The Strive for Life Foundation is a non-profit organization promoting heart health and education among children and young adults. Each year, the foundation organizes two events that serve as fundraising opportunities and create awareness about the importance of heart testing.

Through our events, the foundation has created a platform for community members to come together, learn, and support each other. The Beats for Beats Gala and the Strive FORE Life Golf Tournament are not just fundraising events; they are opportunities to enrich the lives of individuals and families affected by heart disease and to create a healthier, happier, and more resilient community.

The Beats for Beats Gala is a glamorous affair that brings together community members, donors, and volunteers to celebrate the foundation’s achievements and raise funds to support its activities. The gala features live music, entertainment, a silent auction, and dinner, all creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy. It is also an opportunity for community members to interact with each other, share their experiences, and learn about the importance of heart testing for children and young adults.

STRIVE FOR LIFE'S ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

STRIVE FORE LIFE

The Strive FORE Life Golf Tournament is a fun and engaging activity that brings together golf enthusiasts and supporters of the foundation. The tournament occurs at a local golf course, and participants compete against each other in teams of four. The event features a range of activities, including a putting contest, a closest-to-the-pin contest, and a hole-in-one challenge.

Our Relationship with My HeartCheck

The Strive for Life Foundation exists to help protect children from undiagnosed heart conditions by expanding access to professional heart screenings, especially in high-need  communities.

  • My HeartCheck provides the clinically based heart screening services for youth, including EKGs and echocardiograms with medical review by pediatric cardiologists.

  • Strive for Life Foundation raises charitable funds to help ensure that cost is not a barrier for families or communities in need.

The two organizations are separate and independently governed, with distinct roles:

  • My HeartCheck operates as a medical services provider.

  • Strive for Life Foundation determines how and where charitable funds are used to support screenings.

Charitable contributions to Strive for Life Foundation may be used to:

  • Provide financial assistance to qualifying families through an application-based aid program

  • Support fully funded heart screening events in high-need communities.

When Strive for Life Foundation supports screenings, it does so under a written service agreement at fair market value, just as it would with any qualified provider. This structure ensures transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donor funds.

This approach allows us to:

  • Deliver high-quality medical screenings efficiently

  • Target charitable dollars to families and communities with the greatest need

  • Maintain clear accountability and separation between charitable fundraising and medical service delivery

Our focus is simple: helping more children receive life-saving heart screenings.
