Beats for Beats

Beats for Beats is Strive for Life Foundation’s signature annual gala and one of the most meaningful nights of our year. The evening brings together donors, sponsors, families, and friends for a memorable experience filled with music, connection, inspiration, and generosity.

More than a celebration, Beats for Beats helps fuel the mission of Strive for Life by raising awareness and support for youth heart screenings that can uncover serious hidden heart conditions.

This past March, supporters gathered for another unforgettable Beats for Beats in support of Strive for Life Foundation. The evening brought together sponsors, donors, families, and friends for a night that celebrated the mission and helped fuel future impact.

2025 Golf Tournament

On October 6, 2025, supporters joined us at Minor Park Golf Course for our 2025 golf tournament. The event brought together golfers, sponsors, and community supporters for a day of fun, generosity, and mission-driven impact.

While we will not be hosting the golf tournament this year, we’re grateful for everyone who helped make the 2025 event a success and for the support it generated for Strive for Life Foundation.

Our Relationship with My HeartCheck

The Strive for Life Foundation exists to help protect children from undiagnosed heart conditions by expanding access to professional heart screenings, especially in high-need  communities.

  • My HeartCheck provides the clinically based heart screening services for youth, including EKGs and echocardiograms with medical review by pediatric cardiologists.

  • Strive for Life Foundation raises charitable funds to help ensure that cost is not a barrier for families or communities in need.

The two organizations are separate and independently governed, with distinct roles:

  • My HeartCheck operates as a medical services provider.

  • Strive for Life Foundation determines how and where charitable funds are used to support screenings.

Charitable contributions to Strive for Life Foundation may be used to:

  • Provide financial assistance to qualifying families through an application-based aid program

  • Support fully funded heart screening events in high-need communities.

When Strive for Life Foundation supports screenings, it does so under a written service agreement at fair market value, just as it would with any qualified provider. This structure ensures transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donor funds.

This approach allows us to:

  • Deliver high-quality medical screenings efficiently

  • Target charitable dollars to families and communities with the greatest need

  • Maintain clear accountability and separation between charitable fundraising and medical service delivery

Our focus is simple: helping more children receive life-saving heart screenings.
